그러면, -하면, -면
In Korean conversations or while watching K-dramas, you might come across -면 or -면은.
-면 is often used to mean 'if.' Let's look at some examples:
사람들이 내 블로그에 많이 와주면 좋겠다.
(I hope many people visit my blog.)
좋은 시나리오 들어오면, 한 번 도전해 보도록 하겠습니다.
이 대사는 3:21에 나옵니다.
(If I get a good scenario, I will consider it.)
Kim Hyun Joong says this when he appears at the airport in the drama 'Dream High'.
He pronounces "들어오면" as "들어오면은," which is an old expression still used colloquially.
However, in standard Korean, this is changed to -면.
"며는" is a mistake for "면은."
Now that you know, the correct one is -면, and "면은" is acceptable.
